KU Center on Disabilities offers several evidence-based resources to improve outcomes for people with disabilities. We also offer training and technical assistance to implement them in schools and the community! The goal of our assessments and interventions is to provide people and the systems that support them the tools to self-direct and self-regulate their actions in pursuit of goals with the support of trained educators and community partners.
These tools include validated assessments, school and community-based interventions, training, and technical assistance. These tools can be used in k-12 education, especially during transition planning, during vocational and college supports, and in the community throughout adulthood.
